Social Media Review
Start your session off with Jacqueline to review your current social media accounts and get tips for incorporating more images that show off your personality and boost engagement. We’ll review Facebook, Instagram and your website to help create a plan for the types of images you’ll create in your sessions with Loren and Crystal.
Professional Personal Styling
Put YOU into your style! During this time together with Loren you will review your preferences, profession and personality. She will guide you through using the clothes and accessories you bring to restyle them into new outfits that reflect you and the message you want to send. For the professional photo shoot you will have a few sets of outfits to choose from in colors and styles that are flattering to you.
Lifestyle Business Session
Everything you’ve learned comes together for the last part of your session when you’ll get in front of the camera with Crystal for your professionally styled photo shoot! Your Lifestyle Portraits are set up to showcase your brand and business and express what you do in an image you can use on your website, social media, or advertising. We’ll recreate a few daily tasks that represent your business and brand. This could mean displaying your services in action or a combination of displaying your services and showcasing or modeling your product.
After your session you’ll receive a copy of your marketing strategy review with tips and resources for how to best use your new images.
Personal Style Knowledge
After the session, you will have more knowledge around what colors to wear, how to pair them together to reflect your brand and what styles are flattering for your body. If you want to further develop your style for increased confidence about your body and how to dress yourself, Loren will offer a discount on her Discover Your Look package to all attendees!
Professionally Edited Images
Behind the scenes Crystal will choose two of your best images from the shoot, professionally edit them and provide you with the link to download them to use in your new marketing materials. Think you’ll need more? You’ll be provided with ordering information once you receive access to your gallery.
Complimentary Hair and Makeup Touchups
New for 2018! An internationally trained stylist from Mane Attraction Salon will be available to touch up your makeup and refine your hair to look your best for your photo shoot. This service is an optional, complimentary service you can choose to add to your 90 minute session. If you would like your hair and makeup touched up, please arrive 30 minutes before your appointment (example: if you have an appointment starting at 10:00 am arrive at 9:30 am for makeup/hair touchups) with your hair and makeup styled as you normally would and our Mane Attraction Stylist will create a polished, camera ready look to enhance your photo shoot.

As Founder of Another Hand Advantage, LLC, Jacqueline came up with the idea for this workshop when she realized small business owners were having a hard time incorporating their personality into marketing their business. You’ll start your 1 hour Business Brand Kickoff session sitting down with Jacqueline and reviewing how you’re using images on social media and your website. You’ll not only walk away with tips for creating more engagement, but a plan for working with both Loren and Crystal as your session continues.
Through The Closet Door
When Loren, Founder of Through The Closet Door, heard about Jacqueline’s idea for this workshop, she jumped right in because she knows how hard it is to style yourself to reflect the message you want to send about yourself and your brand. Loren wants you to realize that the answers to most style challenges are already in your closet and you just need a new way to look at the clothes you have. The time with her is all about teaching you how to create professional looks in a snap and avoid mistakes for your photoshoot.

Where does Business Brand Kickstart take place?
We will be utilizing Blok Studio located at 1117 E Van Buren St #221 , Phoenix, AZ.
The studio is located on the second floor and only stair access is available.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to get checked in and have your clothing, accessories and props brought in.
When does Business Brand Kickstart take place?
Friday, April 20
Friday’s first session begins at 10:30am and the last session for the day will begin at 1:30pm.
How long does each session last?
When you submit payment you will be able to reserve your own 90 minute time slot. During that 90 minute session you will meet Jacqueline to review your marketing for 30 minutes, move on to discuss your style and review your clothing choices with Loren for 30 minutes followed by a 30 minute photo shoot with Crystal.
How do I decide what to wear and what clothes to bring for the event?
If you have brand colors (i.e. a set of colors you use in your marketing and logo), please bring a minimum of 3 outfits where the brand color is incorporated into one of the items (e.g. jacket, shirt, tie, and/or accessories). Bring neutral bottoms (skirt, pants) or what you would normally pair with those brand color items.
If I don't have brand colors what do I do?
If you don’t have brand colors bring up to 5 outfits with the items that will be seen in the headshot (shirts, ties, jackets, accessories) in some of your favorite colors along with neutrals. Neutrals include: white, ivory, navy, black, brown and gray. Feel free to bring a number of items in your favorite color(s) with a few neutrals.
What else should I bring?
If you have accessories like ties, handbags, jewelry or scarves that include your brand colors (or favorite colors) bring them along! You may also want to incorporate props into your photo shoot like your laptop, tablet, a branded coffee mug or anything else that speaks to your brand, your style and your personality!
When will I get to see my photos?
You will receive the raw images to review first and once you choose your favorites Crystal will begin the editing process.
Images should be selected from the Gallery within 5-7 business days of receiving the gallery link to view your raw images and select your favorites. Editing can take up to 5-10 business days depending on the Photographers schedule.
All other images not chosen from the Workshop will be deleted after 30 days. Should you not select your images within 30 days of the workshop you will be forfeiting your images so please keep an eye out for an email communications from the Photographer.
Will I be able to purchase more photos after the shoot?
Of course! Crystal will provide you with ordering information when she sends out your edited images.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you must cancel your session with less than 7 days notice before the event your payment is non-refundable. However, you may send someone in your place if you contact us to let us know the name and contact information for who will be taking your spot.
